What inspired you to open Freckle?

The idea of opening freckle came after graduating from esthetic school. In 2012 when I opened my doors with less than ten clients, I would have never guessed this little esthetic venture would grow into the successful practice it’s become. I’m still amazed.

What is the story behind the name Freckle?

The word freckle conjures a myriad of images and opinions. It’s primary purpose is to protect the skin against damaging sun rays. Similarly, an esthetician’s job is to help clients protect and preserve the integrity and health of the skin. Whether children or adults, encouraged by heredity or just caused by overexposure to the sun and old age, we love them and hate them. The word just seemed fitting.

Why did you want to become an esthetician?

After receiving years of esthetic education in Europe, I felt like my career easily chose me. I love what I do and feel motivated and inspired by the beauty that lives in esthetics.

I joined the Freckle team in 2017

Why did you want to become an esthetician?

Having PCOS inspired me to become an Electrologist, which was where my path started to help others struggling with the same insecurities I had.  From there I became fascinated with the science of skincare and how to treat all the various conditions that effect our confidence.

What is your go to coffee/tea order?

I love a good iced mocha with white coffee, or during the colder months a hot chai or London fog latte.

What is your favorite Freckle service?
The BioRePeel and Nano-Needle Infusion facial with LED are equal favorites.  I also really love Tanya's European Facial.

On colder days my go to is a London Fog with coconut milk. Something about it just feels so cozy.

What is your favorite Freckle service?
I love our Custom Facial. I have yet to have a facial here that hasn't left me wanting to go home and curl up on the couch. They're so wonderfully relaxing!

When did you start working at Freckle?

I started in 2025

Why did you want to become an esthetician?

Once I realized that I could make people feel more confident in themselves for a living, that’s when I knew I wanted to be an esthetician. There is something so rewarding about seeing someone glow from within (and outside!) after helping them achieve the skin of their dreams. The connections made between myself and my clients are something irreplaceable that continues to remind me why I love what I do!

Oh, and being able to do extractions, as someone who used to watch Doctor Pimple Popper religiously, that was my dream! ;)

What is your go to coffee/tea order?

I drink peppermint tea almost every night but, during the day I love an iced chai

What is your favorite Freckle service?
I have a soft spot for sugaring
